A few questions, then a real conversation. Nothing you write here needs to be clinical — tell us what is true.

Questions
Before you
write to us.
Do I have to have a problem to work with you?
No. A meaningful share of the practice is people for whom nothing is wrong — they are performing well and want more capacity, more clarity, or simply a better relationship with the way they live. You do not have to be unwell to want to be better.
Is this nutrition, or is this therapy?
VŌRARE is nutrition, life coaching and holistic health coaching. Evangeline holds two master’s degrees — one in human nutrition, one in clinical social work from Columbia — and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. The practice draws on both. VŌRARE itself does not provide psychotherapy or mental health treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed physician or psychotherapist. Where a conversation indicates something beyond coaching, we make a referral into a separate clinical practice — with its own consent, records and clinical supervision. The two are connected for you and kept entirely separate on paper.
What happens first?
Every relationship begins with The Nourish Index™ — a comprehensive assessment across body, mind and life, delivered as a private document and a working session. Everything after that is built on it.
Where do sessions take place?
At the Los Angeles Athletic Club for club members, in your home or office, or securely by video. Travel is accommodated for retained clients.
Do you take insurance?
VŌRARE is a private-pay practice. A superbill can be provided on request for nutrition counseling; whether your plan reimburses is between you and your carrier.
How do credits work?
You choose a monthly credit membership — Flex, Rhythm or Momentum — and spend the credits on whatever that month actually calls for: a nutrition follow-up, a coaching session, a workshop, a household intensive. Memberships renew monthly until you cancel, and new Rhythm and Momentum members receive five complimentary onboarding credits in the first month. Rollover and pause terms are set out in your membership agreement. Credits cover nutrition, coaching and wellbeing services only — not psychotherapy or other clinical care.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. Client information is held in confidence and handled under the professional ethics obligations of Evangeline’s credentials, with the narrow exceptions required by law.
