Terms governing use of vorare.health/.
These terms govern your use of vorare.health/. Engagements for services are governed by the separate written agreement you sign before work begins.
The site
This website is provided for general information about the VŌRARE practice. It is not advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship between you and Evangeline Li or VŌRARE. A relationship begins only when a written agreement is in place.
Inquiries
Sending an inquiry does not guarantee that we can take you on. We decline engagements where we are not the right fit, and we will tell you plainly when that is the case.
Fees and credits
Fees are set out in your engagement agreement. VŌRARE Credits are prepaid units of practitioner time, applied to services at the values stated at the time of purchase. Credits are not a deposit account, are not redeemable for cash, and are subject to the cancellation and scheduling terms of your agreement.
Consultations
The first fifteen minutes are free and carry no obligation on either side. Nothing is booked or charged until you say so.
Travel
Sessions requiring travel outside Los Angeles carry an additional fee covering time and expenses. It is quoted and agreed before anything is scheduled — never applied afterwards.
Conduct, and ending an engagement
This work depends on candour, and candour depends on both people feeling safe enough to be direct. That is the mechanism, not a nicety.
VŌRARE therefore reserves the right to decline an engagement, or to end one already underway, where conduct toward the practitioner is hostile, threatening, harassing, inappropriate or otherwise makes the work untenable. Where an engagement is ended on this basis, any unused credits are refunded in full and no further fees are charged.
You may end an engagement at any time and for any reason, with the same treatment of unused credits. The standard runs in both directions.
Cancellations
Session cancellation and rescheduling terms are set out in your engagement agreement.
Intellectual property
The VŌRARE name, marks, The Nourish Index™, and the content of this site belong to the practice. The Index document prepared for you is yours to keep and use personally; the framework behind it is not licensed for redistribution or commercial use.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, VŌRARE is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
